Short answer, Christine at Ski Barn in Wayne. Long answer, In NJ there is Greg Pier and the people he’s trained. He was the owner of Heino’s in Pequannock until about 8-9 years ago, Heino’s was the best ski shop in NJ. I personally had boots fitted there by one of his guys and later had one of my daughters bring her boots there to get fitted. Daughter bought from Stan and Dan’s and they couldn’t do a darn thing despite multiple attempts, much pleading and begging, and the boots were never right and she was in constant pain. An hour or so at Heino’s and a modest charge and she was all set. Greg is now at Ski Barn Wayne NJ if you can get him, I think he’s semi-retired but still does boots. Not sure about his status but he’s like Rembrandt, even if you can’t get him, get somebody he schooled then your buddy will be set. Tech guy I know has wacked achilles like me, had his done at Ski Barn by Christine, says she’s as close as you get to having Greg do the fitting.
