Four Seasons is closed and for sale this little mountain could be yours for two and half million……which in my eyes is a joke.

That part of NY is so interesting for ski areas. So many open, yet so many closed. They still have 5(!!) substantial ski areas (plus a couple more tiny ones), but the Syracuse area has also lost Intermont, Ironwood Ridge, Toggenburg and Mystic Mt over the years; all of which were 500′> and less than 45 minutes’ travel.

Missing some smaller ones still, but this is everything within 45 minutes of the ‘Cuse. Grey is independent and still open (Four Seasons excluded), Orange is closed and <500’, Red is closed and >500′, Yellow is Indy Pass aligned.

Four Seasons (then called 90 acres) was where I made my 1st turns back in 1979. Still remember so many vivid details about that day at that small little place!

Nice plot of land basically right across the street from the entrace to Green Lakes State Park, and when I last drove by it about 4 years ago, a bunch of townhomes have been already built adjacent to the property (which was also used among other things as a golf driving range in the Summer), so I am guessing that some developer won’t balk at the price tag and look to turn it into more townhomes/condos for the greater Syracuse community

I also assume this. The real estate listing doesn’t even mention the ski area infrastructure.

This is true I’m guessing that it will eventually be housing, Fayetteville is a very desirable community as well, i believe and acre of land is going between 100k-400k an acre.
