NewEnglandSkier13 With Mont Bellevue still being closed, we instead headed up to Mont Gleason to ski today. Gleason was 100% open and was skiing great! It was rather crowded, but they opened up both quads and that spread people out pretty well. Lines were usually 2–4 minutes long at both lifts. Trails were excellent packed powder, and most of the glades were too. A few glades had thin spots, but they were generally skiing pretty well. The hardwood glades, which are most of them on the mountain, were in especially good shape. Being on the edge of the huge flat plain stretching to the Saint Lawrence, the views of farm country as far as you can see are super unique for eastern North America. As was the case when I was last at Gleason 4 years ago, they yet again did a great job delivering a quality ski experience, even on a busy day.
NewEnglandSkier13 ski_itJR That lodge is funky! It is, both inside and out! It’s a very nice lodge with lots of different rooms for people to use, instead of one huge space. It’s also completely surrounded by ski trails on all sides, so you can ski right up to the ticket window or any of the entrances. It’s very well thought out, just like most things at Gleason.
