Pretty cool! Obviously they can’t get all the chairs in the base terminal so where do the rest go? I know Mount Snow has a “barn” that they offload the Bluebird chairs into.

I’m guessing the rest go into the top terminal. 8-packs have pretty wide spacing and it’s a relatively short lift (being at Sunday River after all), so there’s fewer chairs than you might think.
This indicates the drive rollers must each have their own motor and be individually controllable. That’s got to be expensive.

Or clutches to disengage from the drive train. Nothing there looks looks inexpensive. Très swanky.

When they’re getting set for the morning, I’ve seen the empty haul rope with carriers coming down from the summit. I’ve assumed a bunch of carriers are stored in the summit terminal. It would be interesting to see a video above in a terminal seeing how the drive rollers work during storage.
