I went XC at dusk out in the woods going up a hill and fell. Somehow I got my downhill ski upside down twisted under me, caught under me and on the other side of a tree. The boot was at 90 to the ski. Swamped by the deep snow I finally got one ski released but couldn’t reach the other for what seemed to be the longest time. Finally when I got it off I couldn’t get either back on and had to post hole home.

I measured 24 inches of snow in the lower Merrimack Valley, with last night’s flurries. Bradford may have hit the jackpot.

A solid 24 in Wenham Ma. Going for a night XC ski in Apppleton farm tonight. Great groomed trail network community based. They do a tremendous job grooming both skating and a classical tack. Many miles. Worth checking out!,

Sorry for not posting here earlier. When I went out Monday afternoon at about 4pm we had a foot. It continued to snow and in the time I was out we got about 2 to 3 inches more. Then we got another 2” overnight. So … a lot.
