ski_itJR I do find it funny that they want to add a mid mountain restaurant on green peak when they have mid mountain lodge over by sunnyside that they don’t use anymore. I feel like expanding/redoing the shack at the top would be a better way to go.
tedede The Sunnyside lodge would need a complete rehab. The location on top of green peak is where the gondola is proposed to stop, affording year round access to the restaurant.
ski_itJR tedede ya I agree they shouldn’t redo the Sunnyside lodge. It just felt dumb they let from the looks of it back in 2010s a nice lodge go down hill.
lotsoskiing Well, Sunday River was a tiny area before Les did what Les did…anything is possible, I guess. Too bad Snow’s Mt. is left out of the fun.
Sully I truly hope this gets done somehow. It’s been teased for 60 years now and it makes sense. Plus with the weddings, add in summer mountain biking, they also own the town square hotel rooms and that revenue is going up massively if they pull it off.
obienick I worry it’ll be half assed like everything else they’ve done lately. And who will make the gondola since MND/LST never got their grip to work and Poma bought Bartholet and blocked the partnership with MND?
