My friend’s older brother had a pair Rosemounts. They were cool! My memory is, they had lace up inner boots that had soles for walking around the lodge. The video has nothing about that. Perhaps the inner boot was an attempt to resolve the lining problem discussed in the video.

My dad owned a pair of the classic red, blue and aluminum Rosemount boots in the 1970s. He kept them for quite a while (5-10 years?), but I can’t remember the exact timespan. I was an older teenager when he had them. He was quite proud of them and I don’t have memories of him complaining about them.
