Pipeline even on good snow days was always closed and not sure why. It was never really hard at all.. All but, the first 100 feet. Can’t believe it’s closed though.
We have passed on skiing Mountain Creek the last couple of years, opting for the long drives to VT. After driving back from VT this weekend, at least there is snow at Pico, it was crazy to come back to NYC to see FEET of snow on the ground yesterday (yes, we waited an extra day as we had to dig a spot out and Sunday was bad, yesterday was too). wishing we brought our skis back to hit the creek.. I am happy for the snows down here - that mountain, as much as I can’t stand how crowded it gets is essential to NYC area skiing and is arguably the best mountain within 50 miles of this city.. They needed the snow as well as the others in NJ/PA and NY and CT areas…. This snow, I hope last them the rest of the season which I think will………
