Tenney is putting the finishing touches on the base lodge this week. Kitchen appliances are being installed and a new tile floor behind the bar plus straitening out the bar plumbing. Perhaps the place will open this season but without snowmaking we better get there as soon as it does because one blow torch event will probably force them to close.

Per Facebook they are ready to open, just waiting on final underwriter approval.  They’re willing to open with limited lodge services but that insurance is needed.

Wish them luck.  If somehow they are able to get open by this weekend with the new snow I’ll be there.  It’s been since ’93 or so since my last visit and looking forward to my next one.

Yes looking forward to some pics of the Hornet lattice. Hope you get there Chuck or someone here on “opening” day!

Tenney is opening Thursday ⅜ with natural snow and intermediate and expert terrain only.

I’m really tempted to go, but Wildcat is calling.  So great to see them up and running.
