Bradford picked a perfect opening day! It snowed the entire morning until I left around 12:30 and temperatures were in the 20s. The total amount of snow ended up being around five inches, which made for some amazing conditions. There were two ways open from the top of the Hornet as well as the novice area. I’m sure they will be opening other trails quickly because they seem to have enough snow which just needs to be pushed around. It was very uncrowded and lift lines were almost nonexistent.

Nice powder report Sam as usual Looks like a Midwest hill. With about the same here overnight I didn’t drive the 80 miles( each way) to Caberfae, wimped out

Great report & pics Sam. See what poor travel conditions & a mega shopping day do for attendance? I’m sure it was stellar at many places Saturday, like CM…etc.. Looks nice, makes me wish I got up & went somewhere yesterday, although it was supposed to be a minor recovery day for this one.I doubt any powder is left today since it is 51° and raining there right now. That points out one problem of having a northern pass when you are a flatlander. It makes it hard to shell out money to ski anywhere else. After shoveling & roof raking the 6″ around here I did manage to do 22 runs or 3k on Mt ISNE. The conditions got pretty fast late in the day what with the light rain we had on top of the powder. It’s almost back to grass today. :(( :(( :((  Unfortunately, ya still got to shovel even when a blow torch is predicted, here in southern New England.

I was at Bradford on Saturday also and conditions were very good. Today’s weather doesn’t help but there will be more snowmaking conditions later this week. I think the Wasp chair and slope will be open for next weekend.
Sam, are you an instructor there? We probably said hello. Paul
