There is no opening day announced yet, but the snowmaking guns have been tested and we are starting to draw up plans for how things will operate this season. Here are the changes we know so far:

- The lodge capacity will be limited to the maximum capacity allowed by the governor.
- Entrances will be marked as entrances or exits only and there will be no traffic flow between levels.
- Face masks will be required in compliance with state regulations.
- Ticket sales will take place at an outdoor window under the lodge overhang.
- Snowsports school programs will have a limited capacity and there will be no seasonal programs for 3 & 4 year olds, unless they were in the program last year.

There is no limit on the number of skiers on the mountain at one time and advance ticket purchasing is not required.

Things are subject to change, but the outdoor and skiing experience will likely be pretty similar to normal.

Lift evac training complete.

Our new trail map is already outdated as a few new glades have been cut since it was finished. There are plans to cut at least one more glade before the season starts.

Just announced: We will be partnering with LL Bean to offer some amazing deals on non-holiday Fridays this season! You can't beat $15 for skiing from 9:00-8:00 at a mountain the size of BMOM!

This year one of the overflow lot areas will be converted to a campground of sorts for people wanting to park a camper or van long term. This expands the concept that a few people started last season with their vans. It seems like this may be something that outlasts COVID and brings another unique aspect to BMOM.

Opening day has been changed to Monday 12/28 because of recovery time needed after the recent rain.

Opening day!
The mountain ops team did a great job getting Androscoggin and Ellis open with good cover over most of the trails. The snow was soft and better than I expected. We even picked up a few new inches of snow during the day. Snow is currently being made on Upper Sunday and Aroostook.

Today was a perfect bluebird day! It never got as windy as they said it would, and the sun was out, so it never got too cold. The mountain wasn't busy at all, especially in the afternoon. Snowmaking continues on Sunday and Aroostook. Those trails should be open by this weekend.

Someday I have to make my way up there. It's a 5.5 hr one way drive for me, but hopefully sometime I can check it out.

It's a great area to spend a few days skiing. Depending on where you stay, BMOM, Titcomb, Abram, Spruce, Baker, Squaw, Hermon Mountain, Lost Valley, Saddleback, Sunday River, and Sugarloaf are all within a easy driving radius.

Similar conditions to yesterday, but a bit busier. We sold out of lessons for our morning session. Snowmaking continues and Aroostook and Sunday should be open within the next couple of days.
