I admit to not being too good at this game. Perhaps my first clue “This ski resort once had tennis”, while true, is a little misleading. Please delete the word “once”.

OK gotta be Cranmore. I was a bit off with Bretton Woods, the volvo thing relocated to Cranmore in the 1970s

at Cranmore I guess the "nets" could be the indoor cricket, or cargo nets on their summer "spyder mountain" thing

not sure how big time would relate, Jimmy Connors played tennis there?

I think that with the main online source of ski history in New England currently being down, this game is a little more difficult than usual.

I'll guess Mt. Cranmore.
I attended the Volvo Tennis Tournament, the last year it was there. It moved to Stratton and a group of us attended it for several years before it moved to New Haven, CT. I don't know the clue(s) about the nets.
