Interesting.  Since IBrake’s first clue included the word “ridge”, I assumed Snow Ridge was not the answer!

I should add that the owners of Snow Ridge have owned Song Mountain in Tully, NY for several years and, since last year, now control Labrador Mountain in Truxton, NY. Labrador is where I learned to ski back in 1976.

Okay! Try this one:

1) I am an open area not that far from a city that was impacted by a famous blizzard, though I am not referring to any recently. 2) About 30 years ago my trail count was reduced from about 50 to 35 - and yet I lost no trails! I did lose a tandem Hall t-bar to a chairlift then. 3) Part of my name was described by sociologist Tony Campolo to be, “a mouthful of nothing that tastes like heaven and sounds like a cow pulling its feet out of mud!”

Wow! I won something! Thank you, thank you. I’d like to especially recognize the Academy, my friends, my dogs and all of my fellow ski compatriots who, without their help, I wouldn’t have made it this far. Head skis for their years of support, NATO for putting up with me and NSP for not banning me for annoying them with my constant stream of “suggestions” on how to make it better.
