Wild guess. They’re all beautiful in the early morning, before the lines get long, IMO. And it may be a stretch to call a rope tow a lift. But it is small. So, what the hell, Powderhouse Hill.

Yeah, that’s a slippery slope. To me aerial, surface, cable & railways are lifts. So carpets, tows, T-bars, pomas, chairs, gondolas, trams & funiculars are lifts. I don’t think generally of Snowcats, snow mobiles, cars, trucks, buses, planes & helicopters as lifts.While Powderhouse’s rope tow is beautiful it’s not the one.

Paleface isn’t NELSAP.  It was in NY.

Paleface isn’t NELSAP.  It was in NY.</blockquote> I know but it is listed on the nelsap.ORG site under Other Regions, where 65 out of 350 lost NY areas are shown. http://www.nelsap.org/ny/ny.html.  Later - now I see the light…http://skikabbalah.com/lostNY/PALEFACE.htm Another site I need to sit down for a month and read.  Speaking of other sites, anyone know what happened to Laurie P. and teachski.com ?

Next:1. I believe it’s the highest-altitude NELSAP area, though I haven’t checked yet.2. One of the worst vertical-drop liars.3. Had some beautifully curvy trails.
