Sam has it, Enchanted Mt. Check out the curvy trails here: http://www.nelsap.org/me/enchanted.htmlHighmount and Enchanted are very close in the altitude department, but Highmount definitely didn’t have curvy trails. And if they lied about vertical drop, it wasn’t as bad as Enchanted, who always claimed 1200 feet and had only about 900. Funny, I skied there once and it didn’t occur to me that the vertical seemed short.Balsams had beautifully curvy trails too, but didn’t lie about vertical. Not much.

Lonesome Pine and Mt. Jefferson both opened for the 1965 season and are ME’s newest areas.  So while I think you got the right state/county and the right product, that Lonesome Pine is the correct answer.

I skied there only once and that was in 1975. So I don’t remember much more than it was there.  It may not still be there.

Middlebury fits clues 2 and 3.  I don’t know if it fits clue 1.

MagicSquaw kinda fits too. One of two standing lifts downgraded to capacity zero. Two standing lifts by 2 mfrs, They built a hotel in 1970.
