I was familiar with Dedham Bald Mountain and was so intrigued with anything to do with skiing in those years that I can’t imagine how it escaped my attention. It wasn’t that small, although it had more like 600 vertical feet than 1200 as NELSAP reported.</p></blockquote>
I don’t think this is what you had in mind, but the clues all fit Sunapee if you consider the two main lifts to be their two detachables.
