This is the most wrong answers I’ve ever generated on any “guess this area” I’ve ever posted.  Let me expand on a clue and see if that helps: The two themes of the trail names:- 1) People who had an impact on the mountain [about 50%]and 2) trees [about 20%], other [the rest].

Temple it is!  The original founders were the Beebes who operated it from 1937 to 1984.  Sandy Eneguess was owner from about 1987 to 1997.  His brother, John, was a world class racer.The tree names: Birch, Spruce, etc. were on the west side.  The east side included the following people names: Beebe, Allison, Maki, Currier, Goyette, Howie’s Hopover, Clarke’s Cutover and Beetle Bailey.So I guess it’s your turn, Sam.

That was a tough one!

Here’s mine:

Two lifts at this area are classic Hall doubles.
This area has a newer base lodge.
This area has some lifts named after birds.

Labrador Mt: Two Hall double chairs, one of which is the Ptarmigan lift. The Puffin Bird lounge is rather new compared to the large and very pleasant base lodge.

Mt. Abram has 2 Hall Doubles2. Mt. Abram’s lodge burned in a fire about 4 years ago, so I guess they have a newer lodge3. I don’t know what Mt. Abram’s lifts are called.

While I have no other guess at this time, your clue only said “newer base lodge”.  It said nothing about the quantity of lodges!I’m getting the idea that there are only 4 or 5 of us who are “playing” in this thread!
