That’s a really good guess, Strandafjellet is in Norway at 62.29 degrees north. Looks like it has a chondola. The one I have in mind is even further north, and I found another resort with a gondola in the same vicinity (but different country), almost as far north. The only clue that would specify which area was the one about the Facebook post, but that’s buried pretty deep now. If you want to look for it, it’s A Maine Skilift Enthusiast, and the post was back in March. Skimap.org lists the ski area, but the map is in a funny language.

Kolasportland in Kirovsk is it! Are is also a good guess at 63.4 degrees north. Kolasportland has lights, not just for night skiing but for midday skiing in December and January!Yllas in Finland is at 67.56 degrees and has a gondola.Good job, Ski_it, we need this thread for the off-season.

Not even an hour old and a grumbling among the crowd….I think clue 2 could probably answer your 1st question (See the bottomish of page 39 & the middlish of page 45). And clue 3 answers your 2nd question, does it not?

You can’t get much more downeast than that unless you were actually in Eastport or Lubec. A couple hundred feet more vertical and it might have nice view of the bay.

Edit: IF I have the right location, from G Maps it appears to be right over the Pembroke line actually in Perry, between Little Egypt Rd & Old County Road on the north side of Rt 1.  44.958815, -67.134237

All of the current overhead cable lifts at this area are chairlifts and all of the removed overhead cable lifts at this area are t-bars.
The lifts run year-round at this ski area.

Probably not what you have in mind, but Pico Mt./Pico Peak seems to fit the clues.
