I’m trying to think: What ski areas have allowed someone else’s lift on their property?  There are a few schools that have lifts on big areas such as the SMS poma at Stratton.  MRG had the lift to supply the Rockefellers back in the day.  1980s Crotched Mt. had a chairlift that was owned by the consessionaire.  Mt. Snow had the “Air Car” from the Snow Lake Lodge to the main area.  But I am stumped by clue #2.

Here’s a small hint regarding clue #2. The hall was purchased by the ski area and installed right by the lodge of this club. The t-bar bears the clubs name.

That would be Song Mountain!

That’s it! The t-bar in question is the Thunderbird t-bar, which is on the Otto’s Folly slope. It originally came from the now long-defunct Ironwood Ridge Ski Area. Many of Song Mountains trails have names from Broadway musicals and hit parade songs from the pre rock era.

It’s a wonderful place to ski.

Well, here’s my guess: Wachusett Mt.

Now that I think about it, you could also be referring to a classic pomalift, rather than a detachable chair or gondy.
