I don’t believe that Jiminy has a wood stove. Here’s another hint: The wood stove is a primary means of heating in the lodge and the high speed lift is not what one would typically think of as a high speed lift.

Not Spruce or Veterans. They only run the rope at Veterans at around 500 fpm if I’m correct.

I’m at a complete loss. I haven’t lived in New England since 92 and never got to familiarize myself with the hills and resorts in the five state area.

Hickory? I don’t think they have any lighting though. Maybe the trick is that it’s lit by the moon half the time?

It’s clear from the clues that it is one of the small rope tows where they run the rope at 25 MPH or so.  Without looking them up, two of the ones that come to mind that I have heard run their ropes “hot” are:- Greylock Ski Club, MA- Ski Venture Ski Club, NYand a bunch more are listed on http://NewEnglandSkiHistory.com

You’re getting the right idea now, but no correct guesses so far! Remember they have night skiing and a lodge that is heated by a wood stove, so it must be a small building. My guess would be that their lift runs at about 800 fpm.
