1. Had an Alpine Slide
2. Something interesting on top that was neither a wind turbine nor telephone/radio towers
3. When I went there, they never seemed to have adequate parking

Alpine Ridge. Not sure about the thing on top (currently there's a radio tower), but it did have Gunstock's original single chair, and I know it had an Alpine slide.

I thought I had that one for sure.
1) Jiminy was a made-up name and not the name of the mountain
2) This is the one I wasn't sure of.
3) CM's quad chair went to Jiminy when CM closed in 1990.

On 1) I should have specified "and was later renamed". On 3), was that lift later moved to a third ski area?

Or: Mount Tom. Had a test tower for a proposed wind turbine at the summit (the turbine was never built).

You got it. Alpine Ridge was Mt. Rowe. The radar station at the top of Boston Hills was what I was thinking of for clue #2.

That was fast.
Loved skiing there wth my kids in a huge storm many years ago. Pow the whole day, lap after lap, and we had the place to ourselves. Sad to see it gone.

1. This ski area was located in a town adjacent to the town in which the State Theater of *insert state* is located (The theater is not named "State Theater," it is a symbolic recognition like state bird, state flower, etc.).
2. During the last 15 years of its operation, this ski area closed and subsequently reopened twice and suffered from a fire which destroyed its lodge.
3. There is a road in this town with the same name as the ski area, but it is not the same road that the ski area was located on.

Not Ascutney. I don't think there are any performing arts theaters in adjacent towns.
