That's not the ski area I'm thinking of, but I know next to nothing about it. If you can prove it fits all of the clues, I'll give it to you! The ski area that I'm thinking of was in the northeastern US or eastern Canada.

Creative. Not what I was looking but I now see my first clue was wrong in a way in the part about the closed area. Closed for a while with similar name. So maybe I should give it to you. There is also a one open in the west but it is part of another resort.
Ah wait a minute both KP and LP are open so then no.

After my (kind of) win, this is my first attempt to post clues. It's probably too easy for this group...

1. This open ski area in New England shares part of its name with a NELSAP New England ski area.
2. A popular clothing company doesn’t have a licensing agreement with this ski area, but easily could.
3. Tom Carvel would've loved this ski area.
