MRG - Single - American Steel and Wire
I'm not sure this counts because the total refurbishment/rebuild was done (2007ish) by Doppelmayr.
Technically, the question said "built", not "rebuilt" Joshua ;)
Ted:
The original question was as follows:
"There is one standing chairlift in New England that was not built by a regular aerial lift manufacturer. What lift is it, and what company made it?"
I do so love to nitpick with you!
I said, "I'm not sure this counts because the total refurbishment/rebuild was done (2007ish) by Doppelmayr."
NES13 agreed with me when he wrote, "Eaton Mountain is the one! MRG's single had been totally rebuilt by Doppelmayr, ..."
Now you say, "Technically, the question said "built", not "rebuilt"..."
I question that the MRG single has enough American Steel and Wire parts left that to be considered their product. I would suggest the the current single that exists now is a new Doppelmayr made to look like the old American Steel and Wire lift.
Your turn :-)
