Perfect conditions, perfect weather, holiday weekend.

First time in my 13 seasons at CM that the parking lot is full and we're turning away customers.

Still, the singles line on the Rocket is still only a few minutes long and there's no line on the Valley Chair.

Really I had a JS knit hat sighting on Saturday. Of course I could be mistaken.

That was me. The helmet rule hasn't gone into effect yet.

Yikes. I thought about going back on Sunday since the conditions snow wise were pretty good on Saturday. I went to Berkshire East instead since I had not been there in awhile. Also very crowded by their standards. Despite the fresh snow I actually thought the base had recovered better at Crotched on Saturday. Nice day but makes me think I will skip next MLK weekend. It didn’t help that the triple seemed to be having some issues. It only ran for maybe two hours and it was having some issues.

Jan. 20, 2020 - MLK Day

After an absolutely crazy Sunday, we were braced for a similar day Monday. There was a decent crowd, but lines were back to "CM normal". Skiing remains excellent, although more snow is needed to open the glades to the sane.

01/23 night skiing was perfect last night. Snow was hard pack with little if any ice. Great carving snow and after 18 runs headed in for some well deserved libations.

Today was rather busy until 2pm, actually had 20+ lined up at west lift waiting for open. Never rained until about 6pm, but heavy fog came in around 3pm. Much different from the storm 2 weeks ago with the high temps, never got above 34 today. Forecast says no freeze tonight, so tomorrow should be soft snow and with sunny conditions. Rain is over now at 10pm, so minimal damage to the snowpack. Much better than the forecast yesterday.

I agree with Remski that the conditions on Thurs night were great. After 6 runs down the Adult Race League course, only a 2-3 gates were down to ice. Great coverage all over the hill!

Even when we fill the parking lots the lift lines remain manageable.

Not that I skied it today but thought it pretty neat the trees-bowing like a tunnel. Also the huge white pine blocking the exit was recently removed by CM glade crew. Thank you!

Those shots are making me drool. Great to hear that they are cleaning out the glades we worked long and hard to open them. Now if they would take those tbar towers out and made snow on that line, WOW wouldn’t that be sweet.

Any damage to my ski bottoms are from the natural snow trails at Killington. I've skied Solstice Glade (the glade NOT the trail) and not hit a rock yet this season.

The ones Remski asked about (Final Frontier) have not been well maintained and the problem with them is puckerbrush and saplings: not rocks.
