+1 for Joshua's post. Definitely great conditions out despite the warm temps. It was great to meet you as well Joshua!! Here's a few pics from yesterday:

Got out there for a few hours yesterday. Such nice weather. I'm not going to say the conditions were great like the last two posters, but they were ok and the mild dry air made it a great day to be out there. Not used to warm weather in Dec, it was much like spring but the low sun angle and low humidity limited any damage.

Any recent reports on CM? I am thinking of heading over Sunday or Tuesday? Thanks. Mike

Got out for a few hours this afternoon. Thought it was the worst of my 20 days this year. No fault of crotched, they have made snow every chance but the entire hill was skied off boilerplate. I would expect first chair tomorrow to be good until around noon. Tuesday will be better.

I got to CM today around 2PM (Dec. 28, Sat.). The good news: My skis were freshly sharpened and I was actually able to edge on the surface, but I can't argue with what thebigo said.

Skied 9-4. The snow started off solid. I had hoped it would soften up a bit but never really did. By about 2 things were really icy. Like Joshua, I had fresh edges and was able to get an edge all day.

Thanks folks. I had a feeling it would be tough. Agreed conditions pretty much everywhere are less than ideal. Since CM is further for me than others I will wait until later in the week.

As it turns out today was indeed a decent day to hit CM. Surface was great with the added snow. Took a while for the Rocket to get going which along with the fog up top were the only downsides. Didn't realize that the Peak resorts were not Buddy or SKAF eligible (but I am sure Vail had some notice some where that I didn't see). Oh well. Mac and cheese was good in the pub.

Yes they did, although really hard to find it on their site. On Mt Snow site:
"NOTE FOR EPIC PASSHOLDERS
Vail Resorts will be integrating lift ticket and season pass systems for the newly acquired Peak Resorts after the 2019-20 winter ski season and therefore Epic and Epic Day Pass benefits, such as Buddy Tickets and Ski With a Friend Tickets, will not be eligible at the 17 Peak Resorts during this season."
In other words, tough cookies.

Skied my 1st glades of the season with Joshua this afternoon. His Solstice glades were great with the 4-5" of sleet that came with the last storm. Kudos to his hard work as my skis never hit a rock. Overall the mountain skied great. Arrived at 2 and waited 4-5 chairs at the most. Really fun afternoon!

The grooming team performed miracles. Last night was too warm and humid to make snow, but by pushing out some of the deeper surfaces, they covered many of the bare spots going from 6-trails at close-of-business on Sunday, back to 16 today with a beautifully skiable surface!

that's impressive!

I skied Crotched today. Agree with Joshua. The snow was real nice today, albiet a bit thin, and only 2 main routes closed. They should be 100 percent by the weekend. And I hear Joshua has a new red jacket!

Was at the Crotch tonight. Near closing time they had guns priming on LOTS of trails. Looking at the web cams now shows they blowing full bore. The 5" or so of new snow really helped the conditions, and everything was skiing nicely. Really hoping that the next storm stops the cycle of weekend rains.
