A few years ago, Ibrake told me about a lift on Syracuse University property which he remembered seeing while he attended classes there. Based on my many times going to its campus in my youth, I had not recalled ever seeing it. The only location on campus I could figure it might have been was the drumlin behind the Manley Field house.
As a result of further investigation of the Onondaga Ski Club's "Little Tuck" which was located on land owned by Syracuse University on Dutch Hill, Tully Valley, information has surfaced where it was located.
On the south campus of Syracuse University, a ski lodge (which still exists) was converted from an existing barn in 1947 on a hill called Skytop. About a decade later, a J bar was erected.
