I filled out the form and didn’t buy anything. My understanding was by filling out the form I’m locked in on the rates and will be able to buy the pass I want later.
That being said, I didn’t get the e-mail staring someone would contact me. I did get a confirmation which I printed so hopefully that will work.

They may be taking a break after the final rush. Based on their queue, which was handling 6000 people per hour, they probably did about 125,000 pass orders yesterday.
I got an email 2 days ago telling me they would get to a problem I have soon. I put the assistance request in a few weeks ago.

I saw the following on Mount Snow's website this morning (Saturday Sept. 19) regarding EPIC pass purchases.

NEED HELP BOOKING?
We are experiencing heavy call, email and social media inquiries. Thanks so much for your patience while we work to respond to all of our guests over the coming days and weeks.
"If you are trying to purchase a pass and are experiencing an issue, including with a credit, please submit an exception form by end of day on Sept 20, 2020 to lock in the lowest price, your credit and pass benefits."
So hurry and get a form in describing your situation. Use the link below or scroll down on Mount Snow's home page to find the original.

It does take a while for them to get back to you.

I hope the webcams are reactivated soon so we can watch the fall color show on the mountains we like and can’t wait to get our skis on them.

Walk up the eastside of Solstice Glade. You might like what you see!

How are the ponds looking? Are they full or low?

There has been serious drought at the mountain. Ponds appear to be low.

Looks like you have been quite busy , very nice! The upper part of the Glade also appears to be more open. Can't wait to ski it!

On the upper part, I removed a large cairn which probably gives it a more open feel and I cleaned up a lot of brush, too.

We're pretty close to full-color. Very pretty and with today's sunlight, it had a lovely pastel tint.

Looks like Crotched finally got the new Vail Resorts website. Attittash and Wildcat as well. Mount snow got its new website weeks ago

I got to the mountain a little late this morning. There was snow last night. Had I been here at 8AM, I might have been able to make my first turns of the season. Some friends of mine did at Stowe.
Encouraging signs on the mountain. Chairs have been replaced on their respective haul ropes and, I am told, that the lifts are ready to go.
Vail mandated pads on the electrical boxes and the water nozzles have been placed in many places.

Skiing much better @ 6:30 am. Super Nova to Comet Drop to Comet to Condo trail to Reentry were cut and covered with 3/4 inch of dense wet granular. No lines either!
I was too lazy to get out though.

Shortly after arriving at Crotched Mountain for the 2007 ski season, I met Bill Nawrocki, a retired Air Traffic Controller. I would have categorized Bill as "the face of Crotched Mountain". Everyday, he was at the mountain from 9AM until 1PM, generally going flat out - one day on Alpine, one day on a snowboard; one day on telemark skis.
He was pretty good on all of them and all the mountain regulars knew him.
I asked him once, "What's an old guy like you doing on a snowboard?" He replied, "My grandchildren snowboard and I figured it would be a way to have some quality time with them." At this point, I knew this was a nice guy and someone with whom I wanted to be friends.
Bill is 13-years my senior. Over the years 9AM to 1PM, became 9 to noon and 9AM to 10:30 before quitting completely 3-years ago.
We used to hike together in the summer and in recent years, our contact was limited to telephone calls. Bill passed away this AM. He was 87. RIP, Bill.

I also met Bill back when my friends and I were cutting the first glades. He would be out hiking on Sunday mornings and when he heard the saws he would wander over and take some time and helps us move brush to the side of the glade. Like Joshua said he was a really nice person and very accomplished at all three of his snow sliding disciplines.
Bill, may you rest in peace!

I still remember a number of years ago, it was either Bill's 80th birthday or his 80th day skiing (probably the former) and the word of the day on the ticket was "Yay Bill".
Sorry for the loss of your buddy Joshua. 87 is a pretty good run, but as my dad used to say, "it sucks to leave the party when you're having a good time".

It couldn't have been his birthday, since that is in July - but I think it might have been on his 100th day of that season - and I love the quote of your father's.

Boarding is hard enough and Bill could rip it with the best of them. A true gentleman, somebody who would remember your name the first time you met him, a true American with old fashioned values, respectful to others never wanting to hold up the pack.
In the spring when CM closed we bumped paths quite often, me skinning and him walking. Bill would say “I don’t want to hold you up “ but you’re not, Bill! and we would talk and laugh all the way to the top even my dogs liked him!
There are some new glades that have been recently cut this fall off super nova I think it’s appropriate to name them after you, “Bills glade”
Respectfully
