Yeah that first bank is clogged good. The Wizards are really hard to run because of the sheer number of nozzles, we capped half of them on all of ours. A lot of places convert them to Polecats because the nozzles are such a pita.
I look forward to getting back next year it's been a while. Looks like only an hour from our "camp" in Errol too. Do the trails off the double have snowmaking? I think my kids would enjoy them. I don't even remember that area when I was there.
Mountain ops has definitely spent a lot of time keeping those Wizzards running properly. Besides the fixed Wizzards, we also run portable Pole Cats and Pumas which typically have been lower maintenance.
Yes, the majority of the trails.feom the novice double have snowmaking and the ones that don't require very little natural snow to cover. Assuming you've been there since the double was installed in 2003, many people barely notice the novice trails because they're pretty well separated from the rest of the mountain, unless you ski Upper Sunday or in the East Bowl.
