Your welcome Rich. Yeah it has been a whirlwind week and it is finally nice to ski some of these areas I have known about for so many years but took forever to get to. Some of these areas are between six and 800 feet vertical but they are quite wide and have a lot of character and sometimes excellent views of big lakes so I would not categorize them as super small molehills like 300 and under of which there are several also.
It was quite sad actually at White cap on Wednesday that there were so few people there and there is so much terrain to cover it’s just too bad they had not done any grooming at all since probably the weekend so it was tough to turn.
This place is right out of the ‘70s, lifts, lodging and vibe. Got to know a couple liftie’s names( Chad in particular),man what a boring job.
Not as crazy a lift as I envisioned it, would have and could have given permission by a liftie ( Chad) to “ forget” to get off
