NewEnglandSkier13;c-58026 wroteUnless I'm missing something, it looks like Vail has completely stopped offering any sort of daily typed snow report, at least at Wildcat. I guess they just really don't want you to know what snow conditions are like until you show up. It couldn't be more different from a few years ago, when Wildcat had someone doing almost daily video snow reports.

As best as I can tell, all of the Vail areas have updated reports on SnoCountry.
As to the early season product: I've skied Sunapee, Okemo, Mount Snow and the non-Vail, Killington. All of the Vail areas have a better product than Killington is offering.
Okemo has 6-full t2b's on three major lifts with absolutely beautiful machine made snow and excellent grooming. If you are looking for steep, Mount Snow is running the North face already. Sunapee has one T2B that is absolutely buried. Meanwhile, the early season regulars at Killington are still waiting for an advance run to open.
I see your gratuitous hating on Vail to be more like a political diatribe than an objective assessment. You may prove to be correct once the season starts in earnest, but for now, you have no basis for complaint.
