Based on the new and newer renovated lodges I've encountered, I guess ski areas no longer feel skiers need to hang up their wet jackets any more. I got one of the 4 coat hooks on WV's 2nd floor Sunday. Pro-tip: There's single one next to the barista..so it still smells like coffee.
And I haven't seen any areas hand out free plastic poncho bags on rain days like they used to either. Let me tell you people were jealous of our 22 year old Tremblant rain bags on St Paddy's Day.
I was impressed with the huge amount of bag storage at Crabbe Mountain in New Brunswick in their brand new bas lodge. There were cubbies on just about every wall! I guess they care more about their customers in Canada or something!
