Jiminy made the decision to close today after this storm brought them heavy rain.

Ski Sundown is closing today. Last year closing date was March 26th. But skiing and snow-cover was more limited because of the 90F temperatures.

Pats Peak decided to throw in the towel after the storm today. They have no power and they are not sure when it will be back.

I’m in MA and I’m not sure. I’m guessing ice with the wide spread power outage that so bad Eversource can’t even get a repair time estimate.

Crotched ended up with about 6" with a rain/ice storm in the middle. At 3PM with 23 runs and at least one uniform change @joshua_segal declared skiing in these conditions was no longer fun.

I suspect Pats got the same 6", perhaps a bit more as they are a little more north.

Crotched lost power for a few hours overnight. Everything was iced up hard. Rocket didn't open until 2PM so they extended the close until 5PM. Webcam was down all day.

I drove by today, looked like lots of snow in the area. I skied Sunapee, which was buried with close to 2 feet and appeared 100 percent open.

I was hoping to hit Pats today for my 2nd Indy redemption but was sad to see they called it a season yesterday. There was a pretty good crowd there when I went last Wednesday and I figured this storm would have bought them another week or maybe 2. Maybe they will pivot and reopen later in the week if the snow holds and power is restored.

You forgot Lonesome Pine Trails. They were open this weekend and haven't announced closing yet.

It likely won't be as significant as last week's storm, so I doubt that we'll see any other ski areas reopen that didn't already reopen last week.

From 3 day prior, this weeks storm has higher forecasted snow total than the last storm. It will be hard to beat the 25-30" that some of SoVT got, but this storm at this point has more forecasted potential. Caveat is wetter snow.

Not seeing the numbers of last week's event here in Western/Central NH...yet. However I hope we don't get even close to that either lol.

There's one change to your closing list. Berkshire East is planning to be open next weekend (Apr. 6th & 7th). There's also talk that if this storm produces what it's predicting, they may be open on Thursday & Friday too.

I'm currently seeing 12-18" in most areas. That would be a solid storm, but not as much as last week's. It also looks like wetter snow with a potential for mixing.

I was referring to the FORECAST vs the forecast, not the forecast vs the actual.

Thanks for the info about Berkshire East and Lonesome Pine Trails.

Lonesome: In the past I used to really a bit on the Ski Maine, but they don't have any info on conditions anymore. Hard to start from scratch, especially for the first post of the Spring.

Berkshire: Current forecast with storm might definitely change a few plans.
