Yeah, saw the news. Was waiting to post about it until the full list was out on 9/8, but using an old thread seems OK instead.
Agree on doubtful for any vail resorts. I do actually think Smuggs is likely - they keep hinting at a “big announcement” on the last day of resort reveals, they’re owned by Bear Den Partners (all but Smuggs in their portolio is on Indy already), and in the last week or so they started liking some of Indy Pass’s posts on social media (or maybe it was Indy liking theirs? Either way.).
I don’t really expect much else in the Northeast. Gunstock was my hope, personally, but also a total longshot. King Pine was a nice add today, switching from the allied to the full pass. A more likely but still pipe dream would be something like Greylock Ski Club or the Vets joining the pass.
I’m holding out hope they might make moves in New Mexico - out of the 8 or so ski areas there, Taos is the only one on any pass. Ski Santa Fe would be an excellent western headliner, and Sipapu would certainly fit the Indy vibe as well.
If we’re super lucky, maybe they add another one of the Eastern Township areas - already 2/4, and they all share the L’Est Go pass anyway.
