Joshua, when I was there on a Sunday the first week of March it was not that crowded. But that was after a lot of rain at the beginning of the week. The triple was pretty much ski on and the double had up to 20 people in line but usually a lot less. The platter was up to 10 people. There were also a few like 10 person groups of uphillers in the afternoon.
Thanks for that info, although one of the universal truths of the ski industry:
- Rain kills crowds even when the skiing is good.
- Powder brings crowds - even on a weekday!
I’ll help provide adjustment: I went on Presidents Monday immediately after that big storm Black Mt and much of the NE got.
I would estimate 120 cars in the lot by noon. Maybe a tad more. I never waited longer than 3 chairs on the double, never more than 4 people on the platterpull, never more than 4 people on the triple.
The lodge was busy, but I did manage to find a seat.
To be fair - this was a Monday, and I’m sure plenty of people got up there on Sunday during the storm so crowds likely were slightly less than if this had been a weekend day.
