joshua_segal Clothing definitely has improved. However, it also sure does seem like society is now in general much less risk averse, much more litigenous when something “goes wrong” and way more likely for many to look to blame someone for their own faults rather than take accountability. I think that that is the larger issue at play these days.
Speaking personally about this past weekend, being the starter of a mogul comp out on the hill basically from 7:30AM - 3PM Saturday and then again from 7:30AM - 1:30PM on Sunday with just a couple of very quick breaks in a not very warm start shack, was COLD!!! Even with 6+ layers on each day!! Especially on Saturday where with about 45 minutes to go, the battery for my right sock ran out of juice… That wasn’t fun!!!!
