My friends and I usually get together and watch some preseason ski movies in November to get stoked for winter. Usually we see the Warren Miller movie when it comes to the Somerville theater. Its a fun event and I think they do a good job even if sometimes the corporate advertising in the movie is a bit much.

I also like to see other flics as well. Below are some films that are showing in New England that I think will be sweet to catch preseason!

Showing Schedule
I have watched the trailer and this seems like a generic version of the Warren Miller films that have been coming out lately. Probably not great but its walking distance from my house!

Teton Gravity’s Actually, It Is Rocket Science:

Showing Schedule
This movie look awesome! It also features Jay Peak! Which is probably terrible for us cause more people will flock there but great for Jay cause they may be down on Canadian visitors this year.

The Chase:

Showing at the First Tracks Northeast Snow Show
Movie is about a local skier just tearing it up on some sweet New England backcountry lines while living out of an old trailer. This is the movie I want to see the most but sadly I will be on vacation during this ski show else I would be there.

Edit: Just saw you can watch “The Chase” on youtube.
