A Cakewalk. I never knew it was a fundraiser. There’s one at Telluride, but it can’t be an upside downer. Well even if I’m wrong I learned a couple things today. Wait a cotton pickin minute, Aspen Highlands has that trail too, but……

Keeping in stride with Rick Bolger: Open, and not in New England1. Has been around for a long time2. Has a unique ownership/management set up3. Was once physically connected to a neighboring ski area, but no longer. Both ski areas continue to operate as separate entities.

I tried to make two ski areas in western NY fit this, but not quite. The Buffalo Ski Club incorporated a separate area called Ski Tamarack, and Kissing Bridge incorporated several areas. But your Clue 3 is that it was once all one area and is now 2 areas. That’s the opposite. The only way Kissing Bridge might work is that the northernmost end is Colden Tubing, a separate operation. But you said ski area.We may get too distracted to solve this until after Christmas.

There is a very confusing set of areas in the Glenwood, NY region.

I’m running through rabbit holes trying to find the once connected, am getting Donner and Boreal but that wasn’t too long ago.
