Treasure Mountain & Snow Park might have been connected, that’s a shot in the dark.  Treasure certainly had a one-of-a-kind lift!

Perhaps a clue that narrows down the region?  Most SJers know the northeast pretty well, with ciscokid and a few others holding up the honor of the midwest, while bousquet19 leads our southeast team!  So can we assume it is not in one of those three regions?

We have a winner! Sky Tavern NV. it is.

Second oldest ski resort in Tahoe area
Owned by the city of Reno. (Divorce reference) and managed by a board made up of parents of the kids in the ski program.
Was connected to Reno Ski Bowl at one time by a Ringer Chair. Very unique lift, only 8 were ever built. Reno Ski Bowl changed to Slide Mtn, and eventually connected to Mt Rose ski area. Was a hangout for Joe Dimaggio (mr coffee reference) Across the street was the now defunct Tannenbaum ski area. Fascinating ski history in the area

It’s Christmas, so you get a 4th: within 10 miles of this ski area there are: another ski area with which it was associated, a perfectly good highway bridge in the middle of nowhere with no road on either side, a substantial city, and the ruins of an incline railway.

Is that a brand name or is there something distinctive about this lift?

It has to be Kratka Ridge, aka Snowcrest.

It is indeed Kratka with a single chair. Does anyone know who made it, and was it installed new there or from elsewhere?
