I'm home now and the drive back was easy. Nobody on Route 112 from Route 9 to Route 2.

I'm sad not to have skied, but I'll go locally next week.

For what’s it worth, An instructor I rode the lift today said they sold 7700 Founders Days Tickets and the total was 10,000 skiers.
It’s pretty empty today, ski on except the BB and GS but their single lines are quick. No doubt people thought it would rain. It didn’t. Demo Day!!!!!! Just rode a couple pairs. Sweet!!!

Today was good. Sunbrook softened up quick. Nice big whales there. Bear Trap was so soft and fun. Rollercoaster had insane mounds to ski. Northface was frozeroy - I ventured over there for one run. I bet NF never softened. ski_it is correct, light crowds today probably due to change in saturday weather

I going to let you write all the reports. Great job! Sounds like we took the same runs. Uncles and Ledge was fun late. Yeah huge whales all over. Stockpiling for next weekend for sure.

From a VERY reliable source I talked with today, to date, Mount Snow has pumped over 200 million gallons of water through the Snowmaking system this season to date. West Lake still has a sizeable reserve, with good refilling rates.

The reality is that in pre West Lake years, on some trails they'd already be at desired Spring depths, AND ITS STILL TECHNICALLY FALL!!

Lots of fun on the hill today, and the bright green Stöckli SX slalom skis I demoed this morning had RIDICULOUS edge hold! And a fun afternoon in the Taproom with many great friends capped off a great day!

A little tougher conditions today. Fog/clouds at the summit for 30/50 yard visibility. Firmer than yesterday. Some very lite white precip at noon. It’s ski on just about everything but the bubble and nitro which were 2-5 mins tops

no way ski_it. You bring it. Best trip reports and you get around. Titcomb is a great hill - you will eat that up once in full winter. Maybe Eaton will open at some point… I was a UMaine Orono guy - in the day just UMO. How long is the drive between Farmington and W. Dover?

Oops!! You got the wrong SJer. NewEngland Skier13 is the one going to school in Farmington. I’m so far removed from college I forget where I went. Oh yeah it was somewhere in Boston in the last century

Dec. 22, 2018 - Sat. Really tough conditions this morning. It froze up solid. Wind blowing hard. It was ski onto the Bluebird until 10:30 and still no line worth speaking of. They started making snow at 11 despite the wind. Boiler plate frozen cat tracks

Yup, needed some sharp edges and if they were on a say sub 70 waist pair of race SL skis that helped this morning!!

Dec. 22, 2018 - Sat. Upper floor of new lodge is open. Bar open but not the restaurant. 2nd floor food service now open

Conditions were much improved today due to the on going snow making. The wind died down too and it was mostly sunny. Crowds were light for Mt Snow

Dec. 24?, 2018 - Mon.
50 of 86 trails. Machines groomed over hard pack. 15 lifts. No guns on. The place was deserted. Even so some spots got scraped off by days end. Flurries all day amounted to nothing. Snowing harder now

Considering if I'm not mistaken, it's Christmas, and the only Snowmaking trail yet to get a deep base blown on it is Ripcord, no complaints in my book!
