After the ski patrol checked Lower Fractured under the chair, I was the 1st or 2nd person down after they dropped the rope. It was tricky, I could hear the crust cracking under me much of the way down. But I didn’t break through. Then scores of skiers and riders went down and broke it up. It was very fun after that. But reading Sam, it seems like Black got more snow, so dangerous break throughs weren’t a concern. I might go to Black on Friday.
We lucked out with little to no crust. Friday should be cold, but great skiing.
