This is pretty slimey even for Vail.
We were rejected 3 times with no explanation. Twice on being unemployed as they ask for proof how long we had been employed. Once on medical. One was denied, on the others we knew nothing until finally we got someone on the phone. All they said was, the claim was closed. Insurer says contact Vail, Vail says go back to the insurer. That is when you can finally get someone on the phone.
Obie, I'm not following you. The state travel restrictions didn't go week by week, they were in effect essentially the whole season. Why would we make a reservation if we knew we were not going? Well hell yeah, if I knew the dirt bags would give you full pass credit based on that I would have, for sure.
Vail of course knew people would not follow travel restrictions & tried to hide that fact some by disabling all their mtn web cams.
The Massachusetts travel order was from Aug 2020 to March 22, 2021. Only the high risk groups had received vaccines at this point. Vermont did not ease travel restrictions for unvaccinated out of state travelers until April 9, 2021 and was not fully lifted until June 1, 2021. Other states within a reasonable day drive except NH had similar dates. Which is a moot point for me since MA did not soon enough. And for example Mt Snow closed 4/11/2021 did it not? Not leaving a lot of time to use the pass.
