I certainly agree with you! Most corporations (especially Vail) only care about their bottom line (profits) even though they try to tell you differently.
Ski areas like Berkshire East are just the opposite. Yes they did offer a spring pass ($139) but if you bought a 23/24 pass before 3/31 they applied $75 of your spring pass towards your 23/24 pass. On top of that, they re-opened last Saturday (4/8) "just for the heck of it" welcoming ALL B'East season passes and offering $20 lift tickets. There was a really good crowd there and I doubt they made money let alone broke even but everyone was having a good time and praised Jon Schaefer for re-opening.
Now that "enhanced my skiing experience"!
