I’m having the same issue. I can reply once but then I’ve got to clear the app before it allows me to reply to something else. Also editing is problematic and adding photos. Gotta figure it all out again.

I’m curious what browser and OS you are using?

To add photos, there is an upload button in the editor. File size is up to 8MB per upload, and it should accept jpeg, png, gif, vebp, avif, bmp, tiff and svg formats.

Yea, trying to edit after making a post results in the same issue. I need to post, close the tab, reopen the site, find the post, and then click edit. Basically, I can do one edit/post/message action, and then those functions lock up. But I can still navigate the site, I just cannot edit/post/message without closing the tab.

Also, is there a way to easily quote someone else’s post and have it attributed to them, like in 1.0 & 2.0?

Yes, highlight the text you would like to quote, and a “quote” button will appear. Click it, and the quote with attribution will be added to the editor.

I like this way of doing it! It makes it much easier to just quote part of someone’s post.

NewEnglandSkier13 I see others figured it out but how do you end a quote? On the one I tried copying part of a quote and the text I added after the quote looks to be part of the quote.

Shout out to @riverc0il for his help with troubleshooting a few site glitches!

We found what was causing the issues he and others have previously mentioned, and made a fix, so hopefully the overall experience will improve 🙂

Yes! I was confusing the My Media button with the Upload button. However, why does the same photo upload from my phone but NOT from my shared photo library when using my computer?

Chris, I like the night mode option! Just discovered it. One recommendation, though, is that the dark blue secondary color for some of the icons and buttons is nearly impossible to see with it on (includes the Post Reply button on posts, as well as the four buttons under your profile photo on the home page (settings, profile, mentions, and whatever the fourth one is). These would probably be best made white or something that contrasts against the dark background.

Are there no longer bookmarks or favorites? I saw an icon for tags but I couldn’t figure out what that does.

“Follow” feature has been enabled, good suggestion! Now you can “follow” discussions and you should receive notifications for new posts, etc.

Tags are basically categories for discussions

I liked having my unread posts that were colored. Sam indicated that can still be done. It was automatic previously. Is there a way to do that in the new format?

Are you referring to the “like” feature and the emoji “reactions” as two separate features?

They are indeed two separate features, maybe I can suggest to the developers a way to combine them into one “reactions” selection.
